Australian Marriage Forum

Later this month the NSW Parliament will begin debating a bill to redefine marriage.

If the bill is passed, NSW will be the first state in Australia to legalise same-sex marriage.

NSW would also be the only state in Australia to have its own, separate marriage laws.

Marriage is the union of one man and one woman, voluntarily entered into for life. Redefining marriage would redefine family.

This bill is not the next step towards ‘progress’. It would take us back to the 1960s when each state had its own marriage law.

We are one country. We should have one law for marriage, determined by the Federal Parliament.

Debate is expected to begin in the Upper House later this month. If it’s passed there, it will move to the Lower House.

Your state MP and the members of the Upper House need to hear from you.

Here’s how you can help us win this thing:

  1. Email your member of state parliament today. (CLICK HERE)
  2. Share this link with your friends and followers on social media:
  3. Forward this email to your pastor and ask them to consider forwarding to the rest of your church.

Despite all the hype the momentum is on our side. There isn’t a single parliament in Australia that has redefined marriage.

This won’t be easy but with God’s help, we will prevail.

Yours sincerely,
