Can these bones live?

Ezekiel found himself in the middle of a valley full of dry bones.
The Lord told Ezekiel to speak to these dry bones. He was given life-giving words to declare. The bones responded and began to come together and live.
What an amazing experience for Ezekiel to simply speak what the Lord told him to speak. He saw life replace death. His ministry was to be more than ministering truth. He was ministering life itself!
Maybe this eerie graveyard reminds us of situations or places that we find ourselves in. Listen and hear what God has to say through us. Declare those words of life to that valley of dry bones.
God doesn’t waste words!

More inspiring stories from local Christian leaders:

1. John Buchannan has retired from the Anglican ministry and is on a unique journey with Jesus. His story is disarmingly simple and beautiful. A thoughtful one-page item.

2. Pastor Jean-Marie Bigirindavyi was a refugee from Burundi in Africa. In this story he tells of praying for a young boy who had died. The boy came back to life. (This story was written following an interview)

Watch where you step!  Some of the Wollongong city churches have got together for a program called Gospel for the Gong. The central theme is “Jesus Is ___”  Budding church graffiti artists are chalking this phrase on the footpaths around town. Members of the public have inserted some ‘interesting’ words. A great idea!
