DESTINY Update 2
26 September 2014

Greetings!  The year is rushing by. So much is happening in Australia and the world. This is the time to be diligent in prayer for revival and transformation in our nation and beyond. That’s what the National Day & 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting is all about. We believe that it will be prayer that turns Australia around. And we believe that a revived Australia will have a special DESTINY in God’s purposes throughout the world.
Our goal is to call our nation to united prayer on 15 February 2015!
About 13 million Australians claim to follow Christianity. Perhaps only 2 million are church-going. Even so, imagine every committed Christian and every local church observing this day in some way! Let’s celebrate our rich Christian heritage and humbly cry out to God to fulfill His DESTINY for the future.
What a powerful statement this would be!  So today we have a special announcement to share with you.

In 2015 there will be more opportunities to participate in
the National Day of Prayer & Fasting
You are invited to go to Canberra to pray with others in the Great Hall of Parliament House. Christians from all denominations united together in prayer in our seat of Government is a powerful testimony to our leaders.
15 February 2015
 from 10am – 4pm
Each local church Australian-wide is encouraged to participate wherever they are. This can be for a short spot, the whole service or after the service. Suggestions will be sent to you. Your church can even watch online.
15 February 2015
during or after the service
Individuals or groups of people can watch online the live webcast from the Great Hall in Parliament House in Canberra. Directions for doing this will be sent to you before the event.
15 February 2015
from 10am-4pm
(Canberra time)
As well as this, in 2015, we plan to have a State Day of Prayer & Fasting as a pre-event in each capital city. This will prepare the way for the National Day as well as allow those who cannot travel to Canberra to be involved in public united prayer across denominations.
7 February 2015
As well as this, we are encouraging many regional pre-events in different cities, towns, communities, home groups and other groups. This allows even more Christians to be part of this prayer movement to see revival and transformation in our nation.
Sat 7 Feb 2015
or at a convenient time in the week leading up to the National Day of Prayer & Fasting
