‘Overcomer’ was the Number #8 Movie in Australian cinemas when it was released last Thursday, 22 August 2019. This is an amazing result for an independent Christian movie up against Hollywood blockbuster movies with up to 50 times the budget.
‘Overcomer’ is a brilliant movie in every respect and I highly recommend it to you, your family and your church networks!
Sadly, Shellharbour Event Cinemas is only showing ‘Overcomer’ during the day. ‘Overcomer’ is screening at 10:30AM & 1:15PM daily this week but we have secured a special night screening for the churches of the Illawarra and friends at 6:45PM, this Wednesday 28 August .
‘Overcomer’ is the latest movie from the Kendrick Brothers, the creators of Fireproof, Courageous and War Room. The film’s producer Stephen Kendrick said, “Our heart’s desire is that lives will be changed”.
This is a great family movie for young and old. The ‘Overcomer’ movie is also a wonderful outreach opportunity. Ask people to invite their friends.
