It’s time to put our own church’s agenda on the back burner and work on the big picture together. Get involved with the Illawarra Prayer Breakfast. This ministry is broadening to include ‘Together for the Illawarra’ (follow link for initial invitation) and see ‘word cloud’ below.
It’s time to pray desperately and act for our nation, especially for the drought and public moral nosedive.
It’s time for a visitor/outsider feedback check on our Sunday activities.
It’s time to be doing the things that Jesus did, bringing heaven to earth.
It’s time to take Jesus into the streets.
It’s time to look the world in the eye and say, “my God is greater, Jesus is victor, I am not ashamed”

‘Overcomer’   was the Number #8 Movie  in Australian cinemas when it was  released last Thursday, 22 August 2019.  This is an amazing result for an independent Christian movie up against Hollywood blockbuster movies with up to 50 times the budget.
‘Overcomer’ is a brilliant movie in every respect and I highly recommend it to you, your family and your church networks!
Sadly, Shellharbour Event Cinemas is only showing ‘Overcomer’ during the day. ‘Overcomer’ is screening at 10:30AM & 1:15PM daily this week  but we have secured  a special night screening for the churches of the Illawarra and friends at 6:45PM, this Wednesday 28 August .
‘Overcomer’ is the latest movie from the Kendrick Brothers, the creators of Fireproof, Courageous and War Room. The film’s producer  Stephen Kendrick  said,    “Our heart’s desire is that lives will be changed”.
This is a great family movie for young and old.  The ‘Overcomer’ movie is also a wonderful outreach opportunity.  Ask people to invite their friends.

The Illawarra Business Hub meets 7am on the first Friday of each month at the Yallah Woolshed.
The aim is to help encourage business people and grow in a Christian manner, giving God all the glory.
Every Friday 7am Prayer Breakfast . It’s a time for prayer for our region, fellowship and a godly start to the day. Meets at the offices of Warwick Marsh, Dads4Kids, behind Central Rd shops, through KFC carpark Unanderra.
Pray with, and for, other Christian leaders in your area.
