God is moving in the Illawarra, we are praying more.
We can continue to increase our Christian Community Prayer effort.
One church at a time
Support the church prayer coordinator and lift the church prayer profile. Give lots of support so the church gets to know that “Our church is praying”. Learn about prayer, read the works of great prayer heroes of the past and move way beyond simply going through a list of ‘prayer points’.
A denomination at a time
Work with your wider fellowship connections to publicise, organise and create a solid denominational prayer base. Appoint a prayer coach and give them room to move.
A fraternal area at a time
Build trusting relationships among neighbouring churches. Release the prayer coordinators for prayer retreats together.
Build those events into your church culture.
We all have our backs to the wall right now.
Heaven knows we need each other like never before
One of dozens of resources to help us pray
“ 5 Disruptive Leadership Trends that will rule in 2020″
Cultural change is like boiling a frog, it happens slow enough that we miss what is happening around us.
1 The Middle Class is disappearing
2 DIY (Do It Yourself) is slowly giving way to DIFM (Do It For Me)
3 Content is readily available; access to leaders and insights are more valuable.
4 Focus over distractions is the new superpower (eg freedom from the phone and social networks)
5 “The Office” will die
From the author:
So I started reprioritising my time, managing my energy, figuring out how to stop getting my priorities hijacked by other people, and in the process (by accident), I became far more productive, so now I can write books, I lead a new company. I speak all over the world, host a podcast, and still actually have time for my family and for myself. I even get seven to eight hours of sleep every night.
The Illawarra Business Hub meets 7am on the first Friday of each month at the Yallah Woolshed.
The aim is to help encourage business people and grow in a Christian manner, giving God all the glory.
Every Friday 7am Prayer Breakfast . It’s a time for prayer for our region, fellowship and a godly start to the day. Meets at the offices of Warwick Marsh, Dads4Kids, behind Central Rd shops, through KFC carpark Unanderra.
Pray with, and for, other Christian leaders in your area.
KCI will voluntarily comply with best practice ‘Permission Based Email Marketing’. We will periodically connect with our contacts who regularly show on our ‘did not open’ report in order to affirm a willingness to remain on our mailing list.

There are currently 4 people from different churches (with Darryl Stewart as Coordinator) on the board who take responsibility for the network.
