‘I Can’t Believe This is Happening’: Awakening Australia explodes into Melbourne: CBN

From Pat Steele, Shellharbour Community Church who was a one of the leaders:
“The common theme of the Awakening Australia event for me was Ephesians 3:20,
‘Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.’

God far exceeded all our expectations, with thousands hitting the streets to share the gospel. Melbourne, Australia and the world will never be the same again.

Over 680 first time commitments (documented from 2 of the meetings) and over 1000 recommitments to Christ in the stadium and many more on the streets, trains, trams and ubers.
People running forward at altar calls.
Mass baptism.
Around 20,000 people raising both hands to say ‘yes’ to becoming missionaries to Australia, to be Jesus’ hands, feet and mouthpiece.
Australia for Jesus”
(Testimonies keep coming in from those who have been touched by God and are taking the fire wherever they go)

“This is Australia’s time”: Bill Johnson

The Australian Prayer network publishes both Australian and International monthly newsletters. The latest international newsletter had some interesting items including a couple on China, and one about the church in Egypt.
One item presented the result of a recent survey in the UK.
One third of UK Christians have never prayed for a miracle.  Only a third of regular church attendees believe the Biblical accounts of Jesus miracles.
To quote the article:
‘Assessing the general UK population, it found 62% of people believe miracles are possible, with 43% saying they have prayed for one at least once. Young adults, aged 24 or younger, were more likely than their older peers to believe miracles are possible today. Graham Nicholls, director of a network of 1,200 evangelical churches, said: “The results are fascinating because they reflect opinions from both inside and outside the Church’.
These and other occasional items of interest are saved in the Kingdom Connections Illawarra website, under Resources and News (select a category)

One evening, after the honeymoon, Tom was welding some stuff in the garage for fun.
His new wife was standing there by the bench watching him.
After a long period of silence she finally said, “Honey, I’ve just been thinking, now that we  are married, maybe it’s time you quit spending so much of your time out here in your garage.  You probably should also consider selling all your welding equipment along with your fishing gear, and the boat and lose all those stupid model planes, plus dump that vintage hot rod sports car, and your home brewing equipment…….”
Tom got a horrified look on his face.
She said, “Darling, what’s wrong?”
He replied, “There for a minute, you were starting to sound like my ex-wife.”
“Ex-wife!?” she screamed, “YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU WERE MARRIED BEFORE!”
Tom replied, “I haven’t been”.

Pray with, and for, other Christian leaders in your area.
