1. Many people are expressing the thought that the spiritual tide is rising in our region.
What is observable?
An increasing desire to pray.
New expressions of church and outreach popping up.
New opportunities for sharing of faith ‘just happening’.
The wider body of Christ beginning to talk to each other, honouring each other, and working together.
Christianity becoming more and more different to the world we live in.
Ordinary Christians speaking out, venturing into different contexts and taking their chances.
Church shifting focus from Sunday routine to full time adventure.
2. A Clarification. There has been an email circulating from the Illawarra Prayer Network inviting churches to be part of an ‘Illawarra Interchurch Covenant’ based on a National Council of Churches in Australia document. Kingdom Connections Illawarra (sender of this eLink) is not involved.
