AUSTRALIAN PRAYER NETWORK NEWSLETTER – SYDNEY EDITION
AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN LOBBY DRAW THE LINE DINNER
Again this year the Australian Prayer Network is supporting the Australian Christian Lobby by hosting a table at their annual fund raising dinner in Sydney next month.
The Australian Christian Lobby is one of the most significant Christian voices into the Federal and State Parliaments of our nation. We are delighted to be able to assist them to raise sufficient funds to enable them to continue to undertake their vital ministry across our nation in seeking to preserve the Christian influence in the decision making processes of our Parliaments. This is a vital ministry at a time when Christian values are under such strident attack.
The Annual fund raising dinner will be held on Thursday evening 28th May at 6.30PM at the Waterview Convention Centre, Bicentennial Park, Homebush Bay. It is a fund raising dinner and therefore attendees are expected to contribute a generous donation to the work of the Australian Christian Lobby over and above the cost of their dinner meal which is provided free of charge. Organisers are hoping to raise in excess of $350 per person towards their 2015 budget target from those attending the dinner.
If you would like to attend the dinner, which is by invitation only, please email your response to me at apn@ausprayernet.org.au by Friday the 15th May. I will then add you to the list of invitees to the Australian Prayer Network table for this prestigious evening.
Principal Speaker at the dinner will be:
The Hon Tim Fischer AC former Deputy Prime Minister 1996-1999 and Australian Ambassador to the Holy See 2009-2012
Another contributor will be:
Australian Christian Lobby NSW State Director Mark Makowiecki
For those interested in seeing the preservation of our Christian Heritage as a nation, and with even a passing interest in how our Parliamentary System works, this is a night not to be missed.
I look forward to being your host for the evening.
