“Porn Harms” Symposium 9 February 2016

A symposium that considers the public health crisis that is being caused by the damaging effect of pornography on children and young people is to be held on 9 February 2016 in Sydney.

The symposium will bring together academics, child development experts, educators, mental health professionals and advocates for children and young people in a multidisciplinary approach. It will examine the growing body of global evidence on the harmful impacts of early exposure to internet pornography, and explore public policy responses.
